Without the usual season opening at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide and instead heading to Abu Dhabi and Bahrain for the start of the season many viewers may have missed coverage on Seven during Saturday and Sunday. But fear not because this year FOX SPORTS has returned to covering the V8 Supercars series in full.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of the V8 Supercars Championships Series screening on FOX SPORTS, chief executive David Malone said: “I’m thrilled to welcome the V8 Supercars Championships back to FOX SPORTS.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

“FOX SPORTS will screen every championship round of the 2010 V8 Supercars Championship Series in full, adding more quality motorsport to our current stable which includes the World Superbikes and NASCAR.”<\/span><\/p>\n

James Erskine, Chief Executive Officer of Sports & Entertainment Limited (SEL), said: “This is an exciting development for the V8 Supercars Championships Series, ensuring motorsport fans have the opportunity to watch every minute of every championship race.”<\/span><\/p>\n

V8 Supercars Australia Executive Chairman, Tony Cochrane, said: “We are absolutely delighted to enter this agreement with FOX SPORTS which is a real win for our many fans at home.”<\/span><\/p>\n

This agreement with Fox Sports Australia comes hot on the heels of an extended broadcasting agreement with Speed TV in America and ESPN Star Sports throughout Asia. Speed TV has 79 million subscribers and ESPN Star Sports has 339 million subscribers in 24 countries.<\/span><\/p>\n
